actually, i dunno..
ever try to do the right thing and end up being treated like
pondscum?
once i opened and held the door for the people walking behind
me.. and everyone just filed in after the person.. who gave me a
look as if i was some kind of lunatic.. and everyone that filed in
either didn't care to look up, or again looked at me like i was a
nutcase...
when i let go of the door, i was given a dirty look by the guy
who had to hold out his hand to stop the door from closing...
no good deed goes unpunished...
many other times i tried to do something, all i got was grief
out of it..
giving an old man a seat, i got yelled at...
trying to make way so that an old lady could pass, i got yelled
at by the old lady herself!
telling people to make way for someone in a mobility scooter, i
got hit by the guy in the scooter and he didn't even care to slow
down or look back...
people are assholes. the only thing we can do is to try not to
be an asshole ourselves.
